Chubu
Mt Fuji, Car Manufacturing, Japan Alps and Japan’s earliest Sakura.
Chubu as the name implies (in Japanese) is the Central region of both Japan and the main Honshu Region.
Several subregions make up Chubu.
Koshinetsu (Niigata, Nagano & Yamanashi Prefectures), Hokuriku (Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui Prefectures) and Tokai (Shizuoka, Aichi, Gifu and Mie Prefectures).
It is served by good rail connections throughout.
The region includes Mt Fuji and the Japan Alps, Aichi Prefecture the home of Toyota, the Izu and (part of) the Kii Peninsulars, so there is a variety of different places to see.
