• TS Japan Rail is a travel planning and consultancy company and its services are limited to providing clients with travel ideas and suggestions for travel in Japan, travel planning services, travel consultancy relating to rail travel in Japan and associated services.

• TS Japan Rail is not a travel agent so cannot arrange bookings and other services normally provided by travel agents. We can however assist clients or travel agents to make their own booking and we can also introduce clients to travel agents we work with to complete their bookings if required. 

• Payment of the agreed fee, in full, is required before TS Japan Rail will start work on a client’s assignment.
• Fees should be paid by credit card, bank transfer or other means agreed between TS Japan Rail and the client. In the case of bank transfers the client is responsible to pay both payer and payee fees. For credit card and other electronic payments TS Japan Rail will bear the merchant costs.
• As TS Japan Rail provides customized services to clients, the actual fee may differ from that advertised on our website or other places, but TS Japan Rail will agree with  the client on the final fee prior to work starting.
• TS Japan Rail reserves the right to charge for any out of pocket expenses it incurs in order to provide the agreed service to the client that have not been included in the agreed fee or scope of services. We will however endeavour to give the client prior notice before the fee in incurred.

Fees are non-refundable unless TS Japan Rail is proven grossly negligent and fails to deliver the agreed service. No refunds will be issued if:
• The client cancels or cannot travel to Japan for any reason.
• The client chooses not to follow our advice or itinerary.
• Travel is disrupted due to weather, natural disasters, or similar events.
